Off the Shelf Work
- Story hours for Key Stage 1 and 2 – Story hours are a one hour drama workshop which takes place at your school. Choose from our off the shelf stories or ask us to design a specific story hour for your chosen book. Price for off the shelf story hour £75.
- LearningLABs for Key Stage 2 – LearningLABs are a two hour drama workshop in which your class can explore historical topics as well as boosting confidence and performance skills. LearningLAB topics include The Romans, The Vikings, The Victorians, WW1 life of a solider and Ancient Egypt. Price for an off the Shelf LearningLAB £120.
- Performance related work – To compliment our shows we offer a selection of education activities ranging from spotlight talks, workshops, master classes and much more.
Issues Based Work to support Citizenship and PGCE
Using theatre as a tool to explore issues that effect young people’s lives is a brilliant way to apply young people’s creative imaginations and to provide cross curricular learning in your school.Exploring themes such as bullying, knife crime, diversity and citizenship we can tailor theatre packages to support your curriculum develop creatively.
Working in partnership with Manchester Universities Applied theatre Masters degree the Oldham Coliseum Theatre now has unique access to working with leading practitioners in this field. Working with us to educate your pupils about the world around them guarantees a brilliant, fun and explorative learning experience.
