Linked to our main house productions, each Theatre Works course consists of a series of practical workshops and talks led by theatre practitioners from the Coliseum and visiting artists.

Full Circle
Full Circle is a friendly and welcoming group for anyone over 50 who fancies trying new things and meeting new people.
Once a fortnight Full Circle come together for a day of three creative sessions, including talks and activities from choir singing, dancing classes and book clubs, through to making their own pantomime at Christmas.

ReadIT
ReadIT is Oldham Coliseum’s book club with a theatrical twist. Once a fortnight ReadIT get together to explore a wide variety of scripts, from Greek tragedies to postmodern plays. You will read extracts from each script, and discuss the background and context of the play, as well as discuss the ways in which it could be taken from page to stage.

Join Kevin Shaw, the Coliseum’s Artistic Director, every month as he talks to actors, directors, designers and writers about their work and careers. Each ‘In Conversation With’ will focus on a Coliseum production.
