PRODUCTION MANAGER
£28,424

Oldham Coliseum Theatre is one of the most established and well-attended venues in the North West, producing eight in-house shows each year.  The Coliseum is also a receiving house for a variety of visiting companies and artists.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced individual with a proactive approach to take overall responsibility for the effective operation of the Coliseum production departments.

With experience of theatre production practice and building management you will possess strong communication and organisational skills and you should enjoy leading a team.

As a member of our Senior Management Team, you will have significant experience in managing and motivating teams, excellent communication and influencing skills, financial management and experience of promoting and maintaining a proactive Health & Safety culture.

The Coliseum’s mission is to provide a wide variety of distinctive and high quality theatre performance and participatory activities for people from all communities in Oldham and Greater Manchester.

Box Office Manager
£19,686

full time, 39 hours per week including evenings and weekends

In this exciting and challenging role as Box Office Manager you will co-ordinate all Box Office and ticketing activities as a key audience development tool working closely with the Marketing Department. Crucially this includes the implementation of a new ticketing system Patronbase in August 2013.

Experience of using a Box Office system is essential along with a passion for excellent customer service, theatre and maximising sales.

BECOME AN OLDHAM COLISEUM THEATRE AMBASSADOR

Oldham Coliseum Theatre Ambassadors serve as an unbiased voice, sharing their experiences of the theatre with the wider public. Ambassadors will help with print distribution, blogging, tweeting and comment on the theatre’s Facebook page and other social networking sites, spreading positive news about the theatre and its wide variety of performances and activities.

As the role of Coliseum Ambassador would be an unpaid role, there will be plenty of reciprocal benefits for the services the ambassadors provide.

What do you get as a Coliseum Ambassador?
- An invitation to the opening night for each production
- Exclusive ambassador events including talks from directors, backstage tours and a chance to meet the cast.
- Taster sessions with departments within the theatre

We’ll keep in touch…
- As an ambassador you with be added to the Coliseum e-newsletter list so you’ll know exactly what’s happening at the theatre.
- Ambassadors will also receive personal updates about upcoming ambassador events and other ways you can help out at the theatre.

What we ask of you:
- To regularly distribute leaflets and posters in your local area – you know it better than we do.
- To commit to at least one Front of House volunteering session per production (you must be over 18)
- Your continued support for the Coliseum!
