From the North West of England and now living in North Manchester, Sue is a freelance Marketing and Communications Consultant working across theatre and the performing arts, the visual arts and heritage. She is particularly passionate about participation, talent development and making the arts accessible to all.
Sue started her management career at Manchester’s Contact Theatre in the 1990s working with John McGrath (now Artistic Director CEO of Aviva Studios, the home of Factory International and MIF). After interim freelance work at Oldham Coliseum, Sue became the Head of Marketing at Oldham Coliseum Theatre between 2015 - 2018.
She combines her freelance work in the North West with consultancy for RNC, a consultancy based in Cardiff, which specialises in work with the arts and charity sector In England and Wales. She has worked with national flagship cultural organisations in Wales, where she has family, including National Museums Wales and National Library Wales, as well as small community led groups. Sue has held several Chair of Trustees roles including CAN and Manchester Craft and Design Centre.
