Lauren Clancy

• Title: Interim Chief Executive

Originally from the North West of England, Lauren Clancy joins Oldham Coliseum Theatre as Interim Chief Executive from London's Bush Theatre, where she was Executive Director between 2017 - 2023 and, before that, the theatre’s Head of Marketing.
 
Working alongside Artistic Directors Madani Younis and then Lynette Linton, she was part of a team that transformed the venue from a local theatre to a beacon of new writing in the UK.   
 
During her time at The Bush, Lauren worked as Executive Producer on several critically acclaimed productions, including Winsome Pinnock’s Leave Taking, Red Pitch by Tyrell Williams, and Arinze Kene’s Misty, which transferred to the West End.
 
She also worked on an extensive capital programme which saw the addition of a studio space, increased audience capacity and an expanded bar footprint.
 
Lauren is passionate about producing high-quality theatre, developing new voices in theatre, championing talent development, and working with diverse communities.

Lauren is the Chair of Trustees at Theatre Ad Infinitum CIO and a former governor of Miles Coverdale Primary School.
