Neil Hurst began his career touring the country in comedy and variety shows as a song-and-dance act, supporting stars such as Bruce Forsyth, Bob Monkhouse, Jimmy Tarbuck, Ken Dodd, Cannon and Ball and Joe Pasquale.  

Theatre credits include: Fat Friends the MusicalEarly Doors LiveEvita; Early Doors - One More Chance; Bouncers; Two; The Last Five Years; Me and My Girl and Joseph and his Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Neil is also an award-winning pantomime comic having appeared in almost thirty professional pantomimes.

TV credits include: All Creatures Great and Small (Channel 5/PBS); Coronation Street (ITV); Home from Home; Casualty; Doctors and Moving On (BBC); Fresh Meat (Channel 4); Andy and the Band; Biff and Chip; The 4 O’Clock Club (CBBC/CBeebies) plus recurring light entertainment roles on Michael McIntyre’s Big Show and All Star Family Fortunes. Neil was also invited to the USA to present a television pilot, Hopping the Pond.

Film credits include: 2022 will see Neil appear in The Railway Children Return; and the film musical, Tomorrow Morning. Other film appearances include The ABC Murders.

Neil lives in Yorkshire with his wife Emily and their daughters, Katie and Aimee. He is delighted to be meeting the audiences of Oldham Coliseum for the first time.
