Bloom: a place for Oldham artists to develop and showcase new work

Five local artists are being supported in their artistic development and the creation of new theatre through the Bloom programme.

We use lots of different venues across Oldham, so there isn’t just one place to head to. Each show has its own event page with the venue address and all the details you need. Have a quick check before you come along so you know exactly where you’re going.

The nearest tram stop is Oldham central, a few minutes’ walk away from most venues.

While our home at the Coliseum Theatre on Fairbottom Street is getting ready for re-opening, we’re still busy making and sharing theatre across Oldham. Our performances and activities pop up in a range of venues around the town and in local community spaces, many of which offer step-free access, accessible seating, and adapted facilities. You’ll find venue-specific access information on each show page. You can also email our box office on boxoffice@coliseum.org.uk or ring us on 0161 6242829 between 12pm-2pm on Tuesday, Wednesdays and Thursdays to chat to us over the phone.

Free tickets are available for essential companions. BSL-interpreted, captioned, audio-described and relaxed performances are marked in our brochure and on individual show pages.

Doors open 30 minutes before each event, unless otherwise specified.

There are loads of great restaurants and cafes in central Oldham. We recommend coming early and having a look around - you won't be disappointed!

You can exchange tickets for another performance of the same show, subject to availability, within 48 hours’ notice. We are not able to offer refunds, unless a performance is cancelled.
