From welcoming audiences and supporting front of house teams to helping events run smoothly, their time, enthusiasm and commitment have been part of the fabric of the Coliseum for generations. At a time when arts funding continues to be under pressure nationally, the contribution of volunteers is more important than ever. Quite simply, we could not continue to create and share theatre in the way we do without their support.
Most recently, we were delighted by the success of our volunteer recruitment drive for A Christmas Fair. We welcomed a brilliant team of 16 volunteers who supported he production throughout its run. Their positivity, professionalism and willingness to get stuck in made a huge difference to both audiences and staff, and we are incredibly grateful for everything they gave. They were, quite simply, amazing.
