OPAC
Welcome to the Oldham Performing Arts Collective!
OPAC is a network for participatory education and educators, run in partnership with Oldham Theatre Workshop. We work with primary schools, secondary schools, and colleges across Oldham to strengthen creative curricular and open up new opportunities for students to engage with drama, theatre, and the performing arts.
Oldham has an opportunity to refresh how arts and culture are delivered in education, creating a cultural offer that reflects the town’s diversity – culturally and socio-economically.
Through a partnership between Oldham Theatre Workshop and Oldham Coliseum Theatre, OPAC delivers a learning and engagement programme that connects young people, teachers and creative practitioners. The programme supports participation as creators, performers and audiences.
Our aim is to inspire the next generation and strengthen arts and culture across Oldham.
