Step inside Liquid & Envy, one of the town’s most iconic nightclubs, for an explosive and thrilling Macbeth that plunges you into  late-1970s Oldham, steeped in the sights, sounds and social codes of the era – a time when the clubs, mills and streets were charged with change.

This is Macbeth in a world of gangsters and shifting loyalties, that draws you into the inner workings of a monstrous mind as ambition, power and paranoia take hold.

Be at the edge of the action for an experience that feels closer to a night out than a night at the theatre.

Directed by the Coliseum’s Creative Director Nick Bagnall (Liverpool Everyman, Shakespeare’s Globe), in his inaugural production for the theatre.

Starring Andrew Sheridan (Control, HBO’s Industry, Channel 4’s The Couple Next Door) as Macbeth and Erin Shanagher (ITV’s The Bay, Amazon’s Outlander: Blood of my Blood, BBC’s Peaky Blinders) as Lady Macbeth.
