As part of our winter programme, we are thrilled to have been working in association with Oldham Theatre Workshop on their festive family show, The Wrong Reindeer, which is taking place at Oldham Library.
A town where there’s nothing to look forward to. A donkey that wishes they were a reindeer and a child who can’t wish at all.
As the winter sets in, and Christmas draws close, an unlikely friendship is formed and an adventure begins that will remind the town and everyone in it, the true meaning of kindness and that maybe just maybe you can be whoever you want to be.
A captivating story with delightful music and unforgettable characters. The wrong reindeer is an enchanting story about letting love in and setting the real you free.
You can expect a tale full of heart, packed with imaginative storytelling, music, dance, fun and plenty of festive magic!
Whilst the shows have been popular, there are still a few tickets left for public performances, which are taking place between 8 and 14 December - you can book tickets here.
We have funded a schools’ tour of the show in January, reaching primary school age children in Oldham. We are delighted that, so far, the tour will be reaching over 2000 local children.
Our interim Chief Executive, Lauren Clancy, said
“We’re really proud to be providing unique experiences for thousands of children across the borough through our 2023 winter programme.”
