Jo Schofield

Jo is a BAFTA and Emmy nominated screen industry professional having worked for over 20 years in TV, Film & Talent Development. She's been a creative producer, script editor, development lead & commissioning executive on some of the nation's most beloved shows. She's run film funds for national broadcasters and created talent labs for incredible creatives. 

Jo is currently Senior Talent Executive for Screen Yorkshire overseeing writer, director and producer talent development, running flagship programmes & working with industry partners across the North of England. Through YARN WEAVER, Jo also works as a filmmaker and writer, focusing on disruptive, engaging female skewed stories. She's passionate about theatre, the North, and ensuring creativity is accessible for everyone.
