Julia Turpin

Julia began her career working in Oldham as Events Manager for the Queen Elizabeth Hall. Most recently she was the Public Engagement Director at Factory International overseeing the development of its engagement programmes as part of its transition from a biennial festival to operating Manchester’s new state of the art new cultural building. Previous roles have included Executive Director of LeftCoast, Blackpool's Creative People and Places, Executive Producer at IOU Theatre, Executive Producer at Quarantine and Director of Contacting the World at Contact Theatre.

Julia’s interests and passion are rooted in creating access and increasing agency for people to engage in a world class arts and cultural offer. She is delighted to be working back in Oldham at this exciting and transformative time for Oldham Coliseum Theatre.
