Simon Chaplin

Simon has worked in the arts sector for over 25 years in a diverse range of production, sales and management roles.

Recently appointed to be Operations Director for Chetham’s and previously Deputy General Manager for The Stoller Hall in Manchester City Centre, a state of the art concert hall on which he worked on as a key member of the design team, being responsible for writing the £1M technical brief as well as working closely with architects, acousticians, mechanical & electrical engineers and theatre consultants.

Simon is also a professional bass player and has performed throughout the UK and so has a good understanding of venues from both sides of the stage.
