Catherine Sharp

With a professional background in administration spanning more than 30 years in the NHS, Catherine brings a wealth of organisational expertise alongside a lifelong passion for theatre.

Alongside a successful career in public service, Catherine has been deeply involved in grassroots and community theatre. She plays a key role in running Playhouse 2 in Shaw and founded a youth theatre that has continued to thrive for over 12 years, supporting young people in developing confidence, creativity and performance skills.

Her creative practice extends into professional theatre, having worked as Resident Director with Forrest-Rose Productions, and with Dare to Know Theatre as an actor, director and Festival Manager for the Dare to Create Oldham Festival.

Combining strong administrative skills with hands-on creative experience, Catherine is passionate about making theatre accessible, inclusive and inspiring.
