Calling all Teachers – Shakespeare North Playhouse CPD Day
We are excited to announce Shakespeare North Playhouse will be coming to Oldham for a FREE bespoke CPD day on Thursday 9 July.
The day is free and is open to Oldham’s primary and secondary school teachers and teaching assistants.
Expert drama practitioners will lead interactive, on your feet, sessions and provide you with plenty of exercises, activities, starters and skills in teaching Shakespeare. The day will cover rhythm, language, key themes and characters through dynamic games and group work. Afterwards, you’ll have lots of techniques to know and grow back in the classroom so you can feel confident teaching the Bard the way he would have intended – dramatically!
Bring questions, curiosity and be ready to play with Shakespeare’s plays!
