Learn traditional drumming techniques, discover how rhythm drives storytelling, and experience the communal power of African performance traditions. 

Led by Oluwasegun Lafup Ogundipe (writer and performer of Ìlọ́yá)

An energetic, participatory workshop exploring the deep connection between rhythm, narrative and community. 

No prior experience necessary – suitable for all ages and abilities. Come and have a go! 

Oluwasegun will also be busking in Spindles and around Oldham before the workshop, so keep your ears tuned and come and pop by!
