This show is supported by Contact Theatre and blends theatre, DJing and character comedy for a joyful hour of release.

You will learn how to live with yourself, how to live honestly and dance through life!

As a world wide renowned disc jockey who has headlined thousands of shows across the globe, nobody is more qualified to be your guru. Tonight she will transform your life, change your mind with her explosive DJ set, dance moves and theatrical storytelling.

About the artist

Amina Aaliya Beg is a multidisciplinary artist working across theatre, performance and DJing.

She is the co-founder of ajeeb studios, an artistic collective platforming what society perceives as strange. Her work aims to challenge dominant narratives around Muslim women, bringing joy, unity and liberation into communities through comedy and drama.

Amina has developed and presented work with Capital Theatres, BFI Film Hub North and Camden People’s Theatre. Recent works include West (Cow)lder at Play, Pie & Pint (2026), The Perfect Girl at The Studio Theatre (2025) and Hope New Mill at Leicester Curve Theatre (2024).
