All Frankie wants is to make great art. But what does it take to make great art?

Can you be happy and make great art? And do you have to have experienced trauma as your muse?

Over the course of two exhibitions, Frankie discovers the myths and pressures of the art world as she struggles to juggle all aspects of her life.

Written by Jake Talbot and Directed by Miranda Parker- from Oldham’s company Dare to Know Theatre – bringing thought provoking stories to life, that are rooted in community.

Sold out twice when it premiered at Dare to Create: Oldham Arts Festival last year at 1853 Studios Mill 1 Gallery, and sold out again at 53two. Top of the I Love Manchester best theatre shows in Manchester 2025 review. 2022 Bruntwood Prize long listed play.

CONTENT ADVISORY: Themes of domestic abuse, alcoholism and sexual assault. Also contains strong language and adult references .

Venue Information
